The app is used either for capture or as viewer.

[ used as capture ]
The app is designed to save network bandwidth & power, so it would only capture & upload one snapshot of image automatically per some configurable seconds. You could configure how frequent a snapshot is captured, which would then uploaded to your Dropbox folder.

The number of snapshot of photos kept on Dropbox folder is configurable so that the oldest photo snapshot in dropbox folder is deleted automatically, and thus, your dropbox folder space usage is under control. Default setting is to keep only most recent 40 of photo snapshot on dropbox folder for this app.

The app assume that you have a dropbox account and logon to dropbox, so that photo captured are uploaded to your dropbox folder automatically.

Note : The app assume that ONE dropbox account is used for capture photos of ONE place, otherwise photos from 2 different places would mixed up.

[ used as viewer ]
The app assume either used as capture OR as a viewer. One iPhone used for capture and other iPhone would be used as viewers by downloading snapshots from dropbox folders. When used as a viewer, you would configure how frequent per contact of dropbox server for any new snapshot of photo captured.

Since photo snapshots are uploaded to dropbox, you could also choose to view your the most recent photo snapshots on desktop dropbox folder at /Apps/iCamGuard. You would see that oldest photo snapshot deleted automatically as newest captured photo added in the folder.
